Reset Week 2026

ICYMI

Reset Week is a special pause in our school year and a time to step away from the usual academic rhythm and intentionally refocus our hearts and minds on Christ. Guided by our Reset Week theme verse (Romans 12:2) and grounded in this year’s overarching theme that Jesus is the true Light, we were reminded that when we center our lives on Him, everything else finds its proper place.

Again, Jesus spoke to them, saying, ’I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’
— John 8:12

Each day began with an all-school chapel, bringing our entire campus together in worship, prayer, and teaching. From there, students broke into a variety of activities designed to reinforce the week’s theme and encourage intentional reflection, discussion, and growth in their faith. These moments allowed students at every age to engage with Scripture in ways that were both age-appropriate and impactful.

One of the most meaningful aspects of Reset Week was the opportunity for our High School students to pour into our younger grades. Throughout the week, they volunteered in classrooms, served alongside teachers, and spent intentional time building relationships with younger students. These experiences helped foster strong connections across campus and highlighted the beauty of discipleship, leadership, and community within our school.

This year, Reset Week also included our first-ever Cereal Drive, benefiting the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank. Classes competed to see who could donate the most boxes. Over the course of two weeks, our students donated more than 751 boxes of cereal, enough to create an unforgettable domino chain across campus and one that ended with an amazing knockdown celebration. (Be sure to check out the videos on our social media pages!)

Reset Week was a great reminder of why we pause before returning to our academics and reset our minds on Christ, placing a renewed emphasis on the spiritual formation of our students and their individual relationships with Him, wherever they may be along their walk of faith.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
