Board of Trustees

Christ Academy is governed by a Board of Trustees, a group of volunteer leaders who give their time, expertise, and support to guide the school's future. Every trustee affirms Christ Academy's Statement of Faith and Christian Purpose without reservation, ensuring the Board's decisions stay rooted in the school's mission: to produce academically well-prepared students who model the character of Jesus Christ.

What the Board Does

The Board of Trustees oversees the strategic direction and financial health of Christ Academy. Trustees set global policy, safeguard the school's mission and Statement of Faith, and ensure Christ Academy remains a strong, sustainable institution for generations of students to come.

The Board also oversees the Head of School, who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the school. This structure allows the Board to focus on long-term direction while the administration manages daily academic and operational life. Questions about school personnel or daily operations should be directed to the appropriate administrator or the Head of School.

A Legacy of Faithful Leadership

Christ Academy has been shaped by dedicated board leadership since its founding in 1953, when the school began as a small kindergarten and primary program. That same spirit of service and commitment continues today, as our current trustees carry the mission forward for the students and families of Wichita Falls.
