+ 1. When does the Admissions season begin?

We accept applications year-round. We offer enrollment as seats are available.

+ 2. Are there fees involved in applying to Christ Academy?

There is a $100 non-refundable application fee for all grades.

+ 3. Is there a fee for enrolling in Christ Academy?

Yes. There is a $250 non-refundable enrollment fee for all grades.

+ 4. What is the review process for an application?

The Admission Committee evaluates a student’s potential academic success based on screening results, academic record, and recommendations. Among other factors considered for entrance into Christ Academy are character, interests, ability, record of achievement, parent and student commitment to learning, available classroom space, and the ability of the school to serve the individual needs of the student.

+ 5. When will families receive the admissions decision?

Once all documentation has been reviewed by the Admissions Committee, you will be notified in a timely manner whether admission is being offered or denied.

+ 6. Where do your graduates attend college?

100% of CA graduates who apply are accepted into colleges and universities or the military.

+ 7. Does CA offer tuition assistance?

Yes. The cost of a college-preparatory program like Christ Academy offers is, at times, difficult for some families. It is challenging to predict whether a family will qualify for a scholarship, as circumstances vary dramatically and the demand for assistance changes each year. If after reviewing the cost of tuition, your family feels that paying full tuition would be a financial burden, we recommend you apply for our financial assistance program.

+ 8. Who qualifies for a military grant?

The military grant is for dependent children of active members of the military, the Reserves, or the National Guard. There is no paperwork to qualify for this scholarship but a Military ID is required.

+ 9. What is the average class size?

The average classroom size from grades K-8 is 15 students per class.

+ 10. Do students wear a uniform?

Yes. EC3 – 8th grade students have a casual uniform and a dress uniform for chapel wear. Grades 9-12 have no required daily uniform, but wear their dress uniform on chapel day. Click here to see specifics.

+ 11. What is the minimum age to begin kindergarten?

Kindergarteners must be 5 years of age by September 1

+ 12. Is there an Early Childhood Program (preschool)?

+ 13. Can we apply without first visiting Christ Academy?

Yes. However, we strongly encourage you to visit our campus and experience the Christ Academy community in person before beginning the application process.

+ 14. What time does Christ Academy start & finish every day?

The upper elementary schedule as kindergarten through fifth grade will now release at 2:45. Kindergarten through second grade will release to the front of the building to be picked up, and third through fifth grade will be released to the rear of the elementary wing as in the past at 2:45. If you have students in both upper and lower elementary, please have your upper elementary child pick-up your younger child and exit at the rear of the elementary to be picked up by a parent there.

+ 15. What do I do if my children release at different times?

Students who have a sibling in grades 3-5, and are not picked up at their scheduled release time, attend Sibling Care until the release time of their sibling.

+ 16. Do you offer After School Care Program?

Yes. Club Warrior is available for students up through grade 5 from the time that children are dismissed from their regular classrooms until 6:00pm. This time includes homework time, enrichment, snacks and fun! The cost for Club Warrior is not included in tuition.
