For several years, our thriving lunch program provided students with delicious, nutritious meals prepared in-house. After the unexpected departure of our chef, however, we found ourselves without a formal lunch program and worked to navigate a season of inconsistency. While we offered a variety of options, it was difficult to maintain a dependable rhythm.

The 2023–24 school year marked a turning point. We hired a new kitchen staff and launched an exciting menu, allowing us to reopen our commercial-grade kitchen three days a week. These meals complemented two other offerings—Takeout Tuesday and weekly charcuterie boxes from Brie Charcuterie—giving students multiple options throughout the week.

NEW + NEXT

Now, we’re thrilled to announce the next chapter in our lunch program: we’ve welcomed Frank Chon, local chef and owner of Shio, to design and implement a refreshed menu for the 2024–25 school year. Frank brings years of culinary experience and a passion for creating meals that are both healthy and exciting for Warriors of all ages.

Beginning this fall, Chef Frank will prepare and serve fresh, hot lunches Monday through Thursday from our on-campus kitchen. Then on Fridays, students can enjoy Chick-fil-A, a fun end-of-week treat!
