Student Support Programs
At Christ Academy, we are committed to supporting the whole learner – academically, emotionally, and spiritually. While we have had an established Student Support Team (SST) process for many years, beginning in 2026, we are excited to expand our student support offerings with additional services designed to identify educational needs early and provide targeted, Christ-centered academic support.
On-Site Evaluation Services
Once a need is identified through the school’s SST process, Christ Academy will offer on-site evaluation services. While these evaluations are an additional fee, they help to assist families in better understanding a student’s areas of strengths and needs, and for determining eligibility for academic support services.
Christ Academy’s School Psychologist guides families through the evaluation process, ensuring parents understand all available options, so parents can make an informed decision that best serves their student and family.
Following evaluations, parents will receive clear guidance in understanding results, along with transparent options should there be need for next steps.
Dyslexia Therapy Program
Beginning in Fall 2026, Christ Academy will offer a structured dyslexia therapy program using Take Flight, a research-based, multi-sensory intervention designed to support students with dyslexia.
Program Model: Take Flight
Schedule: 4 hours per week, during the school day
Instruction: Delivered by a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT)
Placement: Students enrolled through the Student Support Team (SST) process with measurable growth goals
Progress Monitoring: Reviewed quarterly with parents
Learning Lab
Christ Academy’s Learning Lab is designed to encourage and support students needing additional assistance in order to experience academic success and meet grade level expectations.
Students who have been identified as needing additional support for reading, math, and/or writing may be eligible for services. Learning Lab services are offered for an additional fee.
