CA SPORTS ACADEMIES
The mission of the CA Sports Academies is to provide students the opportunity to explore different sport disciplines with quality professional instruction, to promote the physical, mental and social benefits of sports and to cultivate a lifelong love of health & wellness.
Clay Target Academy, CTA, (grades 6-12)
CTA offers opportunities for our team to participate in the disciplines of American Trap, American Skeet and Sporting Clays. Target sports teach the safe use of firearms while providing a unique way to learn the basics of shooting at flying targets in different patterns. CA partners with the Youth Target Foundation & Northwest Texas Field & Stream to provide our students a training facility, gun safety, and competitions.
CA partners with the Wichita Falls Country Club to provide Professional Golf Association, PGA, certified instruction to our golf academy students. Students are able to play competitively in TAPPS and the PGA Junior League of Golf.
Pep Squad Academy (grades K-5)
Pep Squad consists of learning proper stretching, conditioning, basic cheer techniques, cheer motions, cheer jumps, age appropriate stunting, cheers and dances. It is our desire to have the Pep Squad Academy be a feeder program to the Christ Academy competitive cheer squad.
The goal of the Soccer Academy is to provide a structured, challenging learning environment to develop players to their fullest potential through skill based practice competitions under the guidance of collegiate coaching.
CA partners with the Wichita Falls Country Club to provide quality, certified coaches from the United States Professional Tennis Association, USPTA. Students have use of top-notch facilities including three indoor courts that allow for year-round training. Athletes can compete in USTA junior tournaments as well as on the CA Junior High and Senior High teams.
Volleyball Academy (grades 2-12)
CA partners with Zone in Volleyball Academy, ZIVA, to offer development clinics, competitive practices, and individual instruction for volleyball players. Students can also compete beyond the CA Junior High and Senior High teams by playing USA Junior National Club Volleyball with ZIVA.
