Early Education Dr. Seuss Week 2026

oh, the places you’ll go!

From green eggs and ham to hats that went bump, our Early Education students spent last week diving into Dr. Seuss’s world of fun and learning! Each day brought a new theme, new stories, and new ways to explore reading!

Each year, our EE department celebrates Dr. Seuss Week in honor of the beloved author’s birthday. Throughout the week, EC3 through kindergarten classrooms were filled with colorful characters, creative dress-up days, and plenty of opportunities to explore the imaginative stories from Dr. Seuss.

Each day brought a new theme, giving students the chance to dress up and engage with their favorite books in fun and meaningful ways. From creative reading activities to hands-on learning inspired by Dr. Seuss’s classic stories, the week was full of excitement and discovery.

The highlight of the celebration came on Wednesday during the Early Education parent chapel, perfectly timed with Silly Sock Day. Parents and grandparents were invited to join the students for a special chapel time, offering a glimpse into what Early Education chapel looks like each week.

Together, families sang worship songs, listened to a Bible story, and spent time learning about Jesus’ love for each and every student. It was a joyful to see our families worshipping together while experiencing such a sweet time on our campus.

Dr. Seuss Wek was a wonderful week of reading, learning, and celebrating together.
