Early education Thanksgiving Play
Our Early Education students celebrated Thanksgiving with our annual Thanksgiving Play, a tradition we all look forward to each year. Last Thursday, our EC3, EC4, and Kindergarten students took the stage and shared the story of the first Thanksgiving with all the charm and excitement that makes this program so special.
Our teachers directed the performance this year, with Mrs. Hansen on piano and Mrs. Wetzel leading the music. The kids sang several new songs, and we loved hearing the sweet worship music woven throughout the program. One of the best parts was listening to what each student was thankful for, which is always such a mix of heartfelt and hilarious answers.
After the play, families gathered in the gym and cafeteria for a delicious Thanksgiving meal prepared by Mr. Chon and Mrs. Slade. Sharing a meal together was a sweet reminder of the community we’re so grateful to be part of.
