2025 Athletic Banquet Celebrates Student Athletes + Coach Lindemann

Jr. High + Sr. High Athletes recognized

On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, the CA Booster Club hosted its annual Athletic Banquet—a special evening celebrating the dedication and achievements of our student-athletes.

Students and their families enjoyed a delicious meal catered by Open Table and were recognized by their coaches for their commitment, discipline, and determination across a variety of sports, including volleyball, basketball, tennis, track, cross country, cheer, and golf.

During the banquet, our Booster Club and student-athletes also took a moment to recognize Coach Sara Lindemann, our longtime Athletic Director, for her faithful service to CA for the past decade.

Coach Lindemann is transitioning out of her current role as AD but will continue to invest in our students by coaching middle school volleyball. Her hard work, determination, and steady leadership have been instrumental in shaping our athletic program into what it is today.

It was a special night to celebrate her lasting impact on our school and community.

Congratulations to Maris Harris, this year’s recipient of the Booster Club Scholarship!

Chosen by the CA Booster Club Board, this award recognizes a student who exemplifies commitment, perseverance, and excellence in athletics. Maris met—and exceeded—all requirements by participating in CA Athletics throughout her time in Christ Academy’s Upper School and demonstrating outstanding dedication and hard work in all she does.

The Heart of a Warrior Award winners are Lily Gunter (Junior High) and Truett McClellan and Trey Inman (Senior High)! These student-athletes have consistently demonstrated perseverance, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to their teams.

They represent CA with excellence both on and off the court—serving as role models in the classroom and giving their best effort, even when no one is watching. Way to go, Warriors!

The Spirit of Sport Award was established last year to honor a 6th grade student who demonstrates a desire to learn and grow, along with determination, humility, and a positive attitude in competition. This year, we are proud to present the Spirit of Sport Award to Max Donley—a wonderful example of what it means to be a Warrior. Congratulations, Max!

Thank you to all of our hardworking coaches for making this year so spectacular for our student-athletes! It was another great year to be a Warrior!
