Spring Arts Nights 2025

Spring Recital showcases our thriving music program

Recently, our Lower School Music classes and Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) Academy held their spring recitals, celebrating the hard work and musical growth our students have shown throughout the semester. The performances spanned two evenings—one for Kindergarten through Grade 2 and another for Grades 3 through 5.

On the first night, our Kindergarten through Grade 2 students took the stage with joyful songs and rhythm instruments, proudly demonstrating their growing musical skills.

The following week, our Grades 3–5 students delivered a lively, talent-filled recital. They performed rounds, instrumental pieces, and solos, and even sang in harmony—showcasing both musical expression and teamwork. During both nights of performances, VPA students also presented individual pieces they’ve been preparing in their weekly private or group lessons in piano, ukulele, guitar, or percussion.

We were also thrilled to continue our partnership with The German School Sheppard this semester. Their students joined our Music classes and participated in the recitals, bringing a collaborative and international spirit to our community events.

To make these special evenings even more impactful, we incorporated our annual Art Walk into the recital nights. Families, friends, and guests were invited to tour the building after the performances to view artwork from our Studio Art classes. As guests perused the exhibits, our Junior High and Senior High guitar students performed live music throughout the halls, creating an immersive, gallery-like atmosphere for the evening.

We are so proud of all our students for their dedication, creativity, and courage to perform. Well done, Warriors!
