CA Celebrates Mrs. Black
Thank you, Mrs. Black!
This week, Christ Academy families and staff gathered for a special reception honoring Mrs. Lori Black as she steps away from the classroom to focus on her health. Mrs. Black has been a blessing to our community in many ways, from substitute teaching and serving as a classroom aide, to summers at Camp Stonelake, and most recently as an EC3 teacher. Her faithful service and love for children have left a lasting impact, and she will be dearly missed.
As Mrs. Black transitions out of her role, Mrs. Jennifer Bomer will move from EC4 to teach our EC3 class, providing familiarity and continuity for students. We are also excited to welcome Ms. Rebecca Borghini, a recent MSU graduate and certified Texas teacher, as our new EC4 teacher. Her passion for children and ministry will be a gift to our CA community. Both teachers will be supported in the transition by Mrs. Karie Levell, who will provide mentoring and additional classroom assistance.
We are grateful for Mrs. Black’s years of service and ask you to join us in praying for her health and well-being in this new season. It’s not “good bye” it’s “see you later!”
