2026 Athletic Banquet Celebrates Student-Athletes

High School + middle school Athletes recognized

On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, the CA Booster Club hosted its annual Athletic Banquet. This is always a special evening celebrating the dedication and achievements of our student-athletes.

Students and their families enjoyed a delicious meal catered by Open Table and were recognized by their coaches for their commitment, discipline, and determination across a variety of sports, including volleyball, basketball, tennis, track, cross country, cheer, and golf.

During the banquet, our Tyler Jacobus and student-athletes also took time to recognize Coaches AJ Diaz and Belle Jackson for their faithful service to CA as they move on to new roles and new adventures. Over the past three years, Coach Diaz has led varsity volleyball, Middle School track, and Volleyball Academies, faithfully pouring into our Lady Warriors and younger student-athletes. Coach Jackson has served across Middle School, High School, and Volleyball Academies, dedicating her time to building a strong foundation for our rising athletes.

It was a special night to celebrate her lasting impact on our school and community.

Congratulations to Breeli Lane, this year’s recipient of the Booster Club Scholarship!

Chosen by the CA Booster Club Board, this award recognizes a student who exemplifies commitment, perseverance, and excellence in athletics. Breeli met—and exceeded—all requirements by participating in CA Athletics throughout her time in Christ Academy’s Upper School and demonstrating outstanding dedication and hard work in all she does.

The Heart of a Warrior Award winners are Georgia Gilchrist (Middle School) and Trinity Cheatham (High School)! These student-athletes have consistently demonstrated perseverance, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to their teams.

They represent CA with excellence both on and off the court, serving as role models in the classroom and giving their best effort, even when no one is watching. Way to go, Warriors!

A special award was presented to Austin McCollum for his record-breaking State Championship golf performance. As a sophomore, Austin captured the State Championship and earned All-State honors with a truly historic showing. He shot a remarkable 60 on day one, setting a new Squaw Valley course record, along with TAPPS 1-day and 2-day records for 1-6A.

An unforgettable achievement! This The Masters Tournament-level play may not have earned him a green jacket—but it did earn him CA’s first-ever red jacket.
