Summer Reading Challenge 2026

Dear incoming EC3-6th grade Students,

Summer is a great time to have fun with friends and go on adventures. One way you can go on a summer adventure without even leaving your house is by reading!

This summer, I want to challenge you to read regularly to keep your mind sharp. Attached is a Summer Reading Challenge card. On Friday, August 14th, we will have an ice cream sundae party at 3:15 p.m. in the cafeteria for all students who complete the Summer Reading Challenge card.  

You might be asking – what should I read?

The Wichita Falls Public Library is a great place to find a variety of books to read. I encourage you to check out books at the library this summer. If you do not have a library card, make sure to get one this summer. All students who complete their entire BINGO card will receive an additional special treat at our party on August 14th. 😊
