Reset Week 2026

 
RESET WEEK T-SHIRT
 

We are very excited to announce that the week we return from Christmas break (January 6-9) will be Reset Week! We have chosen Romans 12:2, “Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.” as the guiding scripture for why we participate in Reset Week at Christ Academy. This will be a time for fun, fellowship, learning, and give us the opportunity to begin the new year completely focused on Christ.    

Highlights of Reset Week:  

Theme: Shining a Light on Who Jesus Really Is  

Our culture claims to know Jesus, but many people are in the dark about who He really is. This week, we will shine a light on the truth of who Jesus really is. Students will explore all the ways that light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals while discovering that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world!  

Memory Verse: Again, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12 

Dress: Tuesday-Thursday: Spirit Wear or Regular Uniform / Friday: Reset Week T-Shirt & Jeans  

Snacks: Snacks will be provided each day during Reset Week. 

Lunch: Lunch will be provided for all students at no additional cost during Reset Week. The January lunch menu will be provided soon. Students may also choose to bring their lunch. 

Service Projects: As a school, we will be participating in a cereal challengethat will begin during reset week and continue through January 16th. Students will be asked to bring full cereal boxes that will first be used as giant dominoes. The team who brings in the most cereal box donations will get to set up the domino course throughout the school (gym, cafeteria, hallways, etc.) on Friday, January 16th. After the challenge, all of the cereal boxes will be donated to the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank. 

 Service Project Teams:  

  • Early Education (EC3-Kindergarten) + High School Freshmen and Sophomores 

  • Lower School (Grades 1-4) + High School Seniors 

  • Middle School (Grades 5-8) + High School Juniors 

Chapel: We will begin each day with a schoolwide chapel service at 8:45am.  

Cost: There is no additional cost for Reset Week! All students will receive lunch, snacks, and a Reset Week T-shirt.
