HIGH SCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY STUDENT COUNCILS
Student Council provides an opportunity for student leaders to be involved in student government, service projects, and planning social activities for their peers. Students meet regularly with teachers and administration to discuss and find solutions for student issues. These leaders may go through a nomination process, campaign and election before becoming an officer. There are academic and behavioral guidelines which students must uphold to remain active in Student Council. Elementary Student Council is limited to fifth grade students.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT SENATE
The Student Senate provides students the opportunity to meet regularly with the administration to discuss and find solutions for student issues. Its duties include serving as a channel between the Student Body and the Administration and serve as the official voice of the Student Body. The Senate will keep a pulse on the Student Body and the issues concerning them. There are academic and behavior requirements which students must meet to be seated and remain on the Senate.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT COURT
The Student Court is a panel of students formed to aid the administration in investigating minor infractions of school policy and recommending appropriate consequences. Members selected for the Student Court must demonstrate impartiality, the ability to weigh and interpret evidence, and a willingness to enforce the letter of the law yet understand the biblical concept of restoration. The Student Court is under the direction and supervision of the administration. Students must meet academic and behavioral guidelines to sit and remain on the Court.
