Financial need is determined by FAST, the Independent School Management’s Financial Aid for School Tuition Program. FAST is an independent evaluator of finances that takes information entered by the applicant, verifies it through tax records, and recommends to the school a family’s ability to pay. The Scholarship Committee then takes that report and any other data submitted to the school, taking into consideration any unusual or extenuating circumstances, and makes a decision regarding award amounts. All information is treated as strictly confidential.
Yes. Both households should complete one FAST application. The first household will start the application and enter an email address for the parent in the second household. FAST will then send the second household a portion of the application to complete and submit back to FAST. Only FAST and the Scholarship Committee will see the combined household results. If extenuating circumstances prevent a family from completing the FAST application, please explain the situation in the parent letter during the FAST application process.
No. The Scholarship Committee will not consider students for scholarships until they have been accepted as a student at Christ Academy. It may be beneficial for applicants to work on the application for enrollment at the same time as the application for scholarships.

No. Decisions regarding admission and scholarship awards are arrived at different times, by different committees.
In the 2014-15 school year over 70% of our students received scholarships and/or grants.
Applicants will be notified of awards in a timely manner. Families who have just been accepted by admissions at Christ Academy can wait until an award decision has been made before completing the enrollment process for their children, if they choose.
No. It is necessary to provide documentation each year for military or clergy grants, and to re-apply each year for the Dr. Samuel C. Waters Memorial Scholarship. The Scholars & Leadership Program awards are for the duration of a students’ junior or senior high, and therefore do not require an application each year.
