Who?

All children who have completed grades 3K through 5th Grade (Your child must have been 3 as of September 1, 2011 to attend.)

What?

Christ Academy’s Annual Summer Care Program

There will be:

  • Themed weeks with daily crafts, Bible time, games and activities.
  • Weekly field trips and special events
  • Chill Zone time where children can bring a toy or game from home
  • DEAR time (Drop Everything And Read), which is a time for students to practice their reading or be read to
  • Morning and Afternoon snacks provided

2012 Summer Care Themes

When?

  • Summer Care will begin Tuesday, May 29th and will end on Friday, August 17th. (12 Weeks)
  • We will open at 7:30AM and close at 6:00PM.
  • A $10.00 late fee will be charged if a child is picked up after 6:00pm

 

Where?

  • 5105 Stone Lake Drive – Next door to the Bill Bartley YMCA.
  • Enter through the front door each day and go to the cafeteria to sign your child in. Please do not drop your child off at the front door.

 

What to Bring?

  • A lunch that does not require a microwave
  • A nap mat (3K-5K grade)
  • Students who have completed 2nd grade can bring a nap mat/blanket if they wish. They will also have a down time.
  • A book for DEAR time (1st grade and up)
  • ONE toy/game for “Chill Zone” These will need to be taken home daily.

 

Enrollment/Payment Options

 

Full-time Attendance

Full Summer Program: $1000.00 (2 weeks free - payment in full is due June 1st)

Registration is $150.00 and includes all field trips.

 

 Weekly Rate: $100.00/week

Part-time Attendance

Monday, Wednesday & Friday: $75.00/week

Registration Fee is $90.00 and includes all field trips on M, W, & F.

 

Tuesday & Thursday: $50.00/week

Registration is $60.00 and includes all field trips on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

 

Drop-in: $35.00/day

There is no registration fee for the drop-in rate. You must call ahead to make sure there is room before bringing your child as a drop-in to Summer Care. Field trips will also only be available for drop-in children if there is room, and they will have to be paid for separately.


Payment is due for the week on Friday. Drop-in care must be paid for on the day the service is provided.
