is to work with parents and the Body of Christ in Wichita Falls to transform children into dedicated disciples of Jesus Christ by lovingly providing a high-quality education from a Christian worldview, in order to see God glorified and His Kingdom furthered through the faithful work of the next generation.

Secondary PTF

For Parents of Junior High and High School Students

Our Mission:  The mission of the Christ Academy Secondary PTF is to serve our teachers and students by engaging parents in volunteer services to our school community as approved by the PTF Board and sanctioned by the Christ Academy Administration.

All parents are considered members of the PTF and are encouraged to use their gifts to help build strong bonds between one another, our teachers, administration and our students.  There are various opportunities throughout the year to share in fellowship, prayer and encouragement, as well as providing social and material needs for our Jr. High and High school.  Some areas that PTF oversees are listed on the following page.

What We Do.....  

  • Prayer Warriors
  • Raise money to support Secondary teachers and students through the purchase of instructional and educational materials
  • Raise money to support financial aid for Secondary students’ trips through the Servants’ Heart Auction
  • Provide opportunities for families to fellowship in a small  Christian environment
  • Encourage volunteerism and service to Christ Academy families by providing Parents Night Out
  • Provide Social Opportunities for our Secondary students in a Christ centered environment
  • Assist with Christ Academy’s annual BBQ fundraiser
  • Provide for and meet the needs of Christ Academy’s Secondary in any area that is needed to better the school, teachers, administration and students

Parents are welcome to join the Secondary PTF Board meetings at anytime.  We meet once a month for approximately an hour to discuss upcoming events, plan fellowship activities, and coordinate volunteer opportunities.  If you wish to serve in any area, or have any questions please contact Jackie May or Tammy Shierry.

The purpose of this fund raiser is to help the PTF raise money for our 2010 expenses. The "Can You Spare $1.00" fundraiser is now in swing! As you look at our fundraisers it is important to know what the funds are used for. Below is a listing of what the Secondary PTF has done this year with funds raised.

The Secondary PTF has approved and purchased so far:

Teacher Start up gift certificates of $50.00 for each Secondary teacher to Mardels.
Teacher Special gift certificates of $5.00 for each Secondary teacher to Sonic.

Bible Curriculum for multiple grades:
Mr. Todd- Foundations of Apologetics 12 DVD series and books
Mrs. Sandoval- Bible study guides for each student
Mrs. Boyce-Bible study guides for each student
Mrs. Ehrsam-Science Slides and Dissection Kits
Mrs. Ross-Chemistry Science Kit and MicroChem Kit
Plus much more!
We continue to have request to help purchase items for teachers, and our desire is to help pay for any necessities that we can. So, we pray that you will take part in this small fundraiser. If each student takes part in the Can you Spare a $1.00 fundraiser the Secondary PTF can raise $2,200. Yes, $2,200 if each students brings in
$25.00. This money will go a long way in helping Christ Academy Secondary teachers and students.
