Principal tcallaway@christacademywf.org I have lived in north Texas all my life and am the youngest of 12 children. I have been married 34 years to my wife Kathy and we have 3 children; Ashely, Jared and Katelyn. We also have three dogs; K.C., Roxie and Whylee. We attend Grace Church, and I am a member of "Prairie Moon Western Music Band" (not country and western, but "Cowboy" music). I have worked in public schools for 33 years, and absolutely LOVE Christ Academy!

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with Major in Graphic Design from Louisiana Tech University, Ruston, LA
I graduated in 1981 from Minden High School in Minden, LA
I am a Highly Qualified Teacher holding two Texas Educator Certificates: Art EC-12 and Technology Applications EC-12
I also hold a current Texas Principal Certification and a current ACSI All Levels Principal Certification.
I have an Instructional Leadership Development and PDAS certificates from Region 9 in Wichita Falls, TX
I am married to Reverend Peter G. Powell, Pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Bowie, TX
Together we have eight children and two grandchildren.

Dawn Carpenter
Registrar/Admissions Director dcarpenter@christacademywf.org This is my second year to serve at Christ Academy as a secondary math teacher and cheer coach. I attend Grace Church and am active in a variety of bible studies, VBS and adult groups. I have been married 12 years to Brandon, pastor at Grace Church and have 2 beautiful children, Thomas, 8, and Hannah, 6. I have a bachelor’s degree from West Texas A&M University in Math Education and would love to go back to school for a Bible degree.
