Letter from Head of School

Grow with Us…
Christ Academy is seeing an abundance of “new” things: a beautiful new campus, a new head of school, a new secondary principal, a new elementary principal, and a new grade at the high school. Change by its very nature can produce anxiety and apprehension. What will this mean for me? Will our core values remain? Will our history and traditions be forgotten? All are valid concerns. It is also as equally true that growth cannot come without these stresses. Growth that respects the past and builds on core values is exciting and invigorating. This growth will be realized in expanding staff, programs, and services to better serve our students. Even so, relationships will never take a back seat to programs and buildings; students will never become commodities necessary to do business; nor will employees become expendable.
Yet, as nature teaches us, growth without a healthy root system withers and eventually dies. Putting down deep roots allows us to tap into the resources that Christ has for his Chosen providing stability in the storms and uncertainties during this period of growth and providing resources to sustain areas of expansion and development. Those resources include the nourishment of His Word, the fellowship of the Christian community, and the spiritual, as well as, financial support of fellow partners in this endeavor of educating tomorrow’s leaders. It takes all of us-- a partnership with faculty, parents, alumni, and special friends—to ensure healthy and sustainable growth.
We at Christ Academy affirm our commitment to fulfill the mission to produce academically well prepared students who model the character of Jesus Christ, who possess a love for learning, and who strive to achieve their full potential.
Let me offer you an invitation to Grow with Us at Christ Academy.
